Back from MEPs with news
So just got back from MEPs, I took my ASVAB and scored high enough to get whatever job I want and passed all physical and medical tests, and then I got the smacked by my recruiter
My recruiter told me that if I join in my junior year, I could do a split option program. This means I'd leave this summer for basic, come back, finish my senior year, and then go to AIT.
Well, yeah, its not that fucking simple. He didn't inform me that not every MOS is open to people doing a split program. As of last year, the US Army only lets a certain number of MOS for you to pick. And here's the best part -- they're all for fucking retards
and since I'm not a fucking retard and I scored way too high on my ASVAB for my own good, I'm going to end up signing in 3-4 months instead, I won't go to basic training this summary but I will begin drilling and I'll be a soldier all the way until my senior year is over, and then I'll be shipping off.
If you have any questions, let me know. And here's a tip from me, if you're wanting to join the military, don't sign up for a job you don't want. You're stuck with it for six years, theres no way out of it. That's why I choose to just come back as a senior and get the job I want.
(Also I can skip everything and just get fucking weighed and sign up so that's fuckin cool)
