Geopolitical Description:
Galakor II was the second planet to be colonized by the Krogan after the genophage ended. The first planet was Galakor I, it was a much smaller planet, more or less a forest moon that was 'terraformed' by the krogan mostly through introducing tuchankan wildlife, a practice that would also be applied to Galakor II. While clan Urdnot and those clans very loyal to Wrex had first claims to colonize Galakor I, the second planet was claimed by the strong yet rebellious clans of Ravanor and Nakmor. Ravanor built a capital city atop and simultaneously near massive deposits of raw materials to be mined from the crust of the planet itself. Clan Nakmor would send in additional waves of krogan to populate and expand the city. The city earned the name 'Platmor' and stands to this day the largest city of the planet.

Additional smaller cities outlay Platmor, built similarly to Platmor, atop large deposits of materials but moreso land that is suitable to development. Five cities surround Platmor in a rough shape of a circle having much of their infrastructure needs imported from Platmor. These cities are mostly inhabited by clans who support Nakmor such as Drau, Forsan, Jurdon, Ganar and even Weyrloc. To the south however, lies 'The Fifth City' as the rebel clans call it as an insult because of it's last place to be built among the other cities. Despite this insult the local leadership of Clan Urdnot, Raik and Bragus wear this title with pride because despite being the Fifth City, it is the second largest, rivaling the capital itself and boasting more material, more development and more might than all the minor cities combined.

If or rather when the rebels separate from the Wrex Loyalty, Galakor II will be their most important objective. Their anticipated capital is completely inhabited by Rebel clans but Galakor II holds "The Fifth City" leaving the planet not completely secure. The city Platmor boasts amazing manufacturing power and holds an abundance of resources. It is also heavily fortified but if Platmor was captured, the infrastructure of the minor cities would quickly fall behind and attrition, even in a krogan war, can actually win us the planet.

Conflict Situation Update 01(Post MSRC Operations)
The seperatists have captured the Irimog region, allowing them enough resources to manufacture all equipment needed to support four more divisions. With plans of raising more men, Seperatists have begun an offensive down the Seperatist controlled highways leading to the minor cities surrounding Platmor. Seperatists counter attacks have been halted in stalemates on all fronts and the seperatist generals seems at a loss for strategy. Death tolls are now high numbering in the tens of thousands range and expected to continue to the hundreds of thousands range within the month. Although, if their tenacity continues, Loyalist divisions can be raised and storming Platmor in three months time.

Conflict Situation Update 02(After 1 Month of Fighting)
After the 2nd MSRC left the planet, Wrex returned to commanding all Loyalist forces on the planet. With the materials gained from the Irimog Region and the losses the separatists sustained there led the the Loyalist forces capturing two minor cities to the Northeast and Northwest of the Fifth City within three weeks, securing the Loyalists flanks. An additional week of combat and the Loyalists captured another city. Clan Ganar joined the Loyalists after losing confidence in Clan Ravanor as well as happening being provided evidence from an unknown source that Clan Nakmor had been kidnapping their women. Clan Weyrloc was targetted mercilessly by Urdnot warriors, many who survived the purge of their clan joined Clan Ravanor, the rest were assimilated into Clan Urdnot.

Conflict Situation Update 03(After 2 Months of Fighting)
All cities on Galakor II are now secured by the Loyalist clans except for the capital, Platmor and the Northernmost city. Loyalist Clans are gathering the strength to launch an assault on Platmor to crush the Separatists on Galakor II for good.
