The following information lists all known hostile Geth units and their reported abilities, weaknesses, and tactics.

-Infantry Units-


Geth Trooper

Troopers are the Geth's most common unit. They are colored steel gray with green "skin", with white markings.

Abilities: Geth Troopers are equipped with a Geth Pulse Rifle and two plasma grenades.

Weakness: Shield draining powers or ammo is recommended to destroy their synthetic components quickly.

Tactics: They often will swarm enemies while in cover, using their allies to flush them out, before using their rapid fire Geth pulse rifles to destroy them.


Geth Rocket Trooper

Rocket Troopers are the Geth's second most common unit. They have a black-and-white color scheme and several other design features that distinguish them from other geth infantry.

Abilities: Geth Rocket Troopers are equipped with an ML-77 Launcher and shields.

Weakness: Shield draining powers or ammo is recommended to destroy their synthetic components quickly, as well as their shields.

Tactics: They often will rapidly fire homing rockets at heavier targets or massed infantry.


Geth Hunter

Hunters are the Geth's stealth assault unit. They sport a primarily black color scheme, and have red lights and "eyes".

Abilities: Geth Hunters are equipped with shields and Geth Plasma Shotguns.

Weakness: Shield draining powers or ammo is recommended to destroy their synthetic components quickly, as well as their shields.

Tactics: They will cloak to get in close, before uncloaking to blast the enemy with their shotguns. When damaged, they recloak to repair themselves and regenerate their shields.

-Heavy Units-



Geth Pyro/Destroyer

Destroyers are the Geth's flame assault unit. They sport a primarily yellowish-orange color scheme, and have red lights and "eyes", with one singular white "eye".

Abilities: Geth Destroyers are equipped with shields, armor, and an M-451 Firestorm flamethrower, with an attatched fuel barrel on their backs.

Weakness: Shield draining powers or ammo is recommended to destroy their synthetic components quickly, as well as their shields. Armor piercing rounds or shooting their ammo barrels is reccomended for a quick kill.

Tactics: They will get in close, burning their enemies to death. Sometimes they will waste their fuel on one enemy, unless directed by a Prime.


Geth Juggernaut/Prime

Primes are the Geth's command and control unit. They have a red color scheme, as well three red eyes.

Abilities: Geth Primes are equipped with shields, armor, and an a Geth Pulse Cannon, as long as higher armor around their 'necks'.

Weakness: Shield draining powers or ammo is recommended to destroy their synthetic components quickly, as well as their shields. Armor piercing rounds are reccomended after their shields are down.

Tactics: They will remain at mid-range, pulverizing enemies with their cannons while directing other Geth units, along with drones.



Geth Colossus

Colossi are the Geth's heavy assault crafts, combining heavy cannons with thick armor and regeneration protocols.

Abilities: Geth Colossi are equipped with shields, armor, regeneration protocol, and a Heavy Pulse Cannon.

Weakness: Shield draining powers or ammo is recommended to destroy their synthetic components quickly, as well as their shields. Armor piercing rounds are reccomended after their shields are down.

Tactics: They will remain at long range, backing up to engage. When heavily damaged, they will curl up into a heavily shielded regeneration mode, quickly repairing themselves and repowering their shields.
