The Fidemin Empire have spanned the northern coast of the Atakoman Desert for the last 100 years. Born directly out of the Cataclysm, they have proven to be a stable power in the local region. An elf nation, the Fidemin Empire rose to power after a religious reformation spread across the lands. The monarchy, whilst successful in holding off against the initial wave of orcs, had fallen short as the Cataclysm grew to its height. It was the preachers of the land that inspired citizens to a call of arms, allowing communities to defend themselves and effectively organize well enough to become independent of the monarch’s protection. After orc raids slowed, the people of the then “Julian Dynasty” revolted against their monarch, claiming that without the backing of Mithraism, their people would never have been principally strong enough to stand against the hordes of Orcs sent from the underworld.

After the destruction of the Julian Dynasty, a man by the name of Juran Abimas - an influential priest and leader among the people - took command of the nation. With new command, magic has been introduced to holy figures in the nation, those who are capable of magic are highly important advisers and political members to the Emperor. Now, the Fidemin Empire has taken several moves suggesting future expansion, changing military tactics and now relying on versatile infantry and archers with magical clairvoyance to guide them through their battles.

Fidemin society follows a rigid caste system, with the most experienced and useful, whether that be in combat or civil actions, form the higher rungs of society. Those who are less useful are further down in society. Those who cannot find themselves a special use are looked at as dirt.
Further still into Fidemin hierarchal society are magic users. Almost all magic users have some point of power in society, whether that be religious, military, or otherwise. Old and wizened family lines of magic users form the Emperor’s court at the top of the Empire.

Thedlas Veret, the Fidemin priest who led the original religious uprising that spawned the Empire lives in extreme comfort in the High Court, revered as almost a sort of saint. He leads the group of Archmagi under direct control of the Emperor. They perform rituals ranging from simple clairvoyance seeings to powerful enchantments with the Emperor that drain their very life-force. These taxing rituals usually end in the Archmagi lying on the ground and being carried to the top of the High Court.

The five families of the Fidemin High Court reside in the heart of the Empire in the Atakoman Desert, all presiding over matters in the Empire, however, the Emperor does have final say in all things and can veto or overrule any decision made by the families. The families are as follows;

Veret: Religious
Families Under Veret: Eliodin, Xent, Malvien
Veret. The Revered Priest, who led the original uprising. His Family bore the name of one of the five royal families because of his immense help to the empire.

Ichondris: Technological
Families Under Ichondris: Pelo, Vosotra, Sterl.
Archon Inchondris. The Royal Inventor, creating many things in order to create betterment within the life of the Holy Fidemin Empire. His Family Bore the name of one of the five royal families because of his status as the Royal Inventor.

Galvon: War
Families Under Galvon: Alaris, Thanior, Arengar,
Bryne Galvon. The Elder Warrior. Galvon was responsible for many of the conquests drawn out by the Holy Fidemin Empire, the families that show direct lineage are shown to be warriors in their own right, in order to become as powerful as Galvon was. His family bore the name of the five royal families because of his mass conquests.

Yvionde: Agricultural
Families Under Yvionde: Frayn, Chiri, Istina
Tabun Yvionde. The Architect of Creation, saving the lives of millions of members within the Holy Fidemin Empire during a horrible Famine. Because of his family's creation of food for the families of Fidemin. His family was added to the royal court.

Trica: Cultural
Families under Trica: Copurnacai, Elcra, Denthros.
Evico Trica. The Painter of Life, Trica’s work was known to all as the blessing to everything. Trica’s Music praised the ears of soldiers, causing them to fight long and hard with raised morale. It was said his art helped the creation of food for Yvionde. Because of the revered music and culture the families made, the Trica were the last to be added to the Royal Court.

The Industrial Dream of Archon Ichondris:

Archon Ichondris was a skilled tactician within the Holy Fidemin Empire, helping win over the revolution raised by the Emperor.Known for finding weak spots within armies, and helping to patch them up in order to make the Rebellion stronger. After the position of Emperor was fulfilled, Ichondris saw a vision within his mind. A Vision of a world of his creations running life as we know it. He eventually soon got to work as he started to Pioneer the inventions of his time. Stemming from the creation of a Anemometer. He proceeded to create other systems, including an elven form of measuring Wind, called Ichos. Using this invention, Archon Pioneered into creating better defensive mechanisms for the Holy City of Elendros in order to defend them against natural disasters. Despite this, Ichondris was not done. He built many prototypes, and creations that he begged others to work upon.

Stemming to the creation of a form of transportation with wheels. Creating a Bicycle. Despite the elven society deeming it useless to the greater good of Elven-Kind. In the Conquests of Bryne Galvon, he created a famous war machine called the ‘Organum Tres’. A set of 30 small caliber rounds of Cannon-Fire, in order to have a constant barrage of fire upon enemy soldiers. Ichondris also developed the modern implementation of the Clock, sticking to the bases units of measure. Ichondris Inventions were told of as grand scale, worshipped by many scholars within the cities of the Fidemin Empire.

The Famine of the Revolution: Tabun Yvionde was already born of the ashes of Revolution. His family were already tireless farmers, and the flames of revolution did not treat them kindly. Yviondne forced his family to starve as he grew crops for the empire. As Yvionde knew that he was solely not enough, he begged other farmers to join him on his quest to help feed the empire. But due to social policies at the time, the answer was no. Yvionde, distraut, committed arson against barns who did not help the empire. In fear, Yvionde Led many farmers to do the same, to starve for the empire’s sake.

Eventually, with the usage of ending Subsistence Farming. Yvionde helped save the Holy Fidemin Empire crashing in onto itself. Yvionde soon was accepted into the royal court for his leading of the people. The majority of farm barrels coming out of the Holy City were labeled with Yvionde’s name. Yvionde did not forget the ‘sacrifices’ that were made within the Holy Fidemin Empire. Where he promised to ‘reward’ the farmers that he burned in order to do the work of saving the Empire.
