Unit History.

Matthew Horner, the second son of a wealthy Eden Prime merchant, lived a boring and safe life, all the while yearning for something more. Horner found that something in the Alliance. He adored watching the troops and vehicles come and go daily, and would always aspire to act like a soldier, much to his family's chagrin. He especially took after the officers that he saw, as he admired the formal attitude of them. As soon as he reached the fresh age of 18, he enlisted in the Alliance Marine Corps and was shipped to Fort Armstrong on Earth for boot camp.
